MIDDLEBURY, Vt.—The Skidmore College golf team shot a second round 313 to finish 15
th in the 35
th Duke Nelson Invitational played on the par-71 Middlebury College Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
The Thoroughbreds had rounds of 305-313—618. Williams College came from behind to win the 22-team event with 293-291—584 by four strokes over Trinity College. First-round leader NYU was third (291-299—590) and Babson fourth (299-293—592).
Sam Goldenring of Williams led from start to finish, shooting 69-70—139.
Gabriel Rossi was the top Skidmore finisher, tying for 20
th place with 73-76—149.

th with 75-82—157 and
Walker Stroud tied for 73
rd with 80-78—158.
The Thoroughbreds will play in the Liberty League Fall Preview Sept. 22-23 at the Turning Stone Casino and Resort.
