SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—New Paltz took advantage of a penalty kick in the 90
th minute to post a 3-2 men's soccer win over Skidmore College in the season opener for both teams Saturday afternoon at Union College.
The teams will move to Skidmore on Saturday when the Thoroughbreds host Keuka College at 3 p.m. and New Paltz takes on Union at 6 p.m.

Alex Ricci scored goals at 78:18 and 88:38 to tie it 2-2 before New Paltz converted a penalty at 89:19 to win the game.
Sebastian Bosch had four saves for The Thoroughbreds
