SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— Senior Day couldn't have gone any better for the Skidmore College soccer team clinching a Liberty League playoff berth with a 6-0 win over Bard College.

The six seniors become the first class in program history to qualify for postseason play all four years.

The Thoroughbreds (9-5-3, 4-4-1) finish sixth and will travel to #3 Ithaca College for a quarterfinal game on Tuesday. Top seed St. Lawrence will host the semifinal and championship on Nov. 3-4.

Five different players found the net against Bard (3-13-1, 0-9).

Mike Park scored on a quick cross from
Ben Caples at 12:58. Caples made it 2-0 on a wide-open shot off a pass from
Ted Roach at 14:52.Â
Stanley Langyintuo made a slick move to beat a defender on score his first goal of the season at 28:34. Langyintuo made it 4-0 when he juggled the ball and then first a shot in from 15 yards out at 40:49.

Matt Schwab and
Hart Jamieson closed out the scoring with second-half goals.

Sebastian Bosch and
Bobby Stratts combined for the shutout. Bosch had two saves in the first half, while Stratts did not have to make a stop.
