KISSIMMEE, Fla.—The Skidmore College softball team continued its Florida trip Sunday, losing 11-2 to Rowan University and 7-4 to Wheaton College.

The Thoroughbreds (1-3) spotted Rowan (6-5) Â a 7-0 lead before
Kristina Foley drilled a two-run double down the line to make it 7-2 in the top of the fourth. The Profs scored four in the bottom of the fourth for the 11-2 win. Foley finished 1-2 with two RBI.
Lauren Fortunato was 1-2 with a run.

In the second game, Wheaton (1-2) got out to a 5-0 lead after two innings. Skidmore battled back with four runs in the bottom of the third to cut it to 5-4. Â Two of the runs game on bases loaded walks and one on a bases loaded hit batter.Wheaton got a pair of insurance runs in the seventh on a two-run homer.

Dani DeGregory was 3-4 with a run and a stolen base.Â
Lila Rosenfeld was 1-2, and Foley and
Karly Fishkin were both 1-3 with a run scored.
Jill Strileckis went 1-3.

The Thoroughbreds continue their trip on March 15 with games against Washington College and Cortland State.
