MIDDLETOWN, Conn.—The Skidmore College women's basketball team nearly erased a 15-point fourth quarter deficit in a 63-60 loss to Wesleyan University in the championship game of the Courtyard by Marriott Invitational.

Skidmore fell behind 56-42 after three quarters.
Â
The teams traded points at the start of the fourth quarter, before

Â
That would be the last points of the game for Wesleyan. Skidmore managed to cut it to 63-60 on field goals by Moceri and Donnelly. A final Thoroughbred three attempt as time expired just missed, leaving the 63-60 final.
