Live Stats SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team faces a tough challenge when it goes on the road to take on Williams on Tuesday.
The Thoroughbreds (2-1) responded from Friday's 2-0 shutout loss to Potsdam with a 5-1 win against Canton on Saturday. Five different players scored in the win.
Adebare Oyeniyi and
Augustine Okoye each recorded a goal and an assist and
Will Berg tallied his first collegiate goal.
SCOUTING WILLIAMS
Williams opened the season with a 2-0 win against 2014 NCAA Division III semifinalist Oneonta. The Ephs, who rank 20th in the most recent d3soccer.com national poll, blanked Trinity, 2-0, in their second contest. Sophomore Mark Sisco-Tolomeo tallied twice against the Red Dragons and leads the team with three goals and six points. In goal, junior Christian Alcorn has stopped all 10 shots he has seen this season. Williams was 6-2-1 at home in 2014.
