Skidmore bounced back from a season-opening loss with a dominant performance in a 1-0 win against MCLA. Junior midfielder
Emily Saliterman converted on a penalty kick for her second goal of the season, while
Deirdre Walsh posted the shutout in goal. The Thoroughbreds outshot the Traiblazers 28-3 in the win.

SCOUTING NEW PALTZ (1-1)
New Paltz suffered a 5-1 loss against Ramapo on Wednesday. The Hawks have conceded five goals in back-to-back games after opening the season with a 4-1 win against Purchase. Â The Hawks have been outscored 5-0 in the first half this season.

New Paltz was 2-6-1 on the road and 3-3 against non-conference opponents in 2014. Junior midfielder Skye Kaler recorded five points against Purchase on two goals and an assist. Sophomore goalkeeper Katelyn Cordero has started all three games in goal, posting a .500 save percentage and a 4.00 goals against average.
