ROCHESTER, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team scored twice in the game's first 15:22 on the way to a 3-0 road win over Nazareth College, Tuesday night.

It was the season opener for both teams.

Augustine Okoye scored first for the Thoroughbreds when his shot rifled off a Golden Flyer defender and into the net at 6:57. Okoye set-up the second goal at 15:22 when
Kevin Santos converted Okoye's  pass for a 2-0 lead.

The Thoroughbred defense stymied Nazareth, allowing only two shots on goal. Both in the first half.

Brennan Mitrolka added an insurance goal when his shot found its way past the far left post at 78:13 for the 3-0 final.

Eli Kisselbach had one save in net for the shutout.

Skidmore is off for 10 days, before hosting Potsdam on Sept. 11 at 4 p.m.
