SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team will be looking earn a place in the Liberty League championship game for the second time in three seasons when it travels to #15 Hobart Tuesday for the Liberty League semifinal.
 
The Thoroughbreds punched their Liberty League postseason ticket with a 1-0 win at Union on Saturday, as Todd Jensen's goal from the penalty spot 6:02 proved to be the game-winner. Eli Kisselbach made all four of his saves in the second half to earn his eighth shutout of the season, tying him for the program's single-season record that he set in 2012.
 
SCOUTING SKIDMORE
- Skidmore is 0-2-2 in its last four games at Hobart and 7-5-2 in its last 14 road games against Liberty League opponents.
 
- The Thoroughbreds rank third in the conference with a team goals against average of 0.63, while ranking seventh in goals per game (1.63).
 
- Skidmore is 6-1 when freshman defender Ben Caples recods an assist. Caples' seven assists on the season are tied for second in the conference.

- Hobart is 18th in Division III with a 0.54 team goals against average.
 
- The Statesmen have scored two or more goals in six of eight home contests this season, outscoring their opponents 19-5 in those contests.
