SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's soccer team travels to Vassar Saturday for a matchup of conference unbeatens.
 
The Thoroughbreds improved to 3-0 in Liberty League play with a pair of shutout wins over the weekend. Senior forward Tim Sullivan netted back-to-back game-winning goals, earning him Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week honors. He scored the only goal the team needed 39:08 into Friday's 2-0 win against RIT and tallied in the 107th minute to lift the Thoroughbreds to a 1-0 overtime win against Hobart. Freshman defender Ben Caples recorded his team-leading fifth assist of the season against the Tigers.

Reigning Liberty League Defensive Performer of the Week Eli Kisselbach made a season-high 10 saves against the Statesmen. Kisselbach has five clean sheets on the season and is second in Division III with a .938 save percentage and fourth with a 0.29 goals against average.
 
The Thoroughbreds have shutout four consecutive opponents, including three straight Liberty League opponents, and have not allowed a goal in 383 minutes. Skidmore's 0.54 goals against average ranks 23rd in the nation.
 
SCOUTING VASSAR
Vassar extended its win streak to four with a 3-1 win against Clarkson on Saturday. The Brewers upset No. 16 St. Lawrence, 1-0, in their league opener. Vassar is 4-1-1 at home this season.
 
Senior forward Tom Wiechert is averaging 1.50 points per game, placing him fifth in the league, while his six goals and 15 points rank sixth in the conference. Senior forward has produced all of his nine points (4 G, 1 A) this season over the last four contests. Sebastien Lasseur has taken over the starting role in goal for the Brewers. He made a season-high eight saves against the Saints and currently holds a 0.55 goals against average and a .875 save percentage.
