SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's soccer team makes the short trip to take on crosstown rival RPI on Tuesday night with a Liberty League postseason berth on the line.
 
St. Lawrence slipped past the Thoroughbreds, 2-1, on Saturday. Emily Saliterman scored her team-leading sixth goal of the season, placing her tied for eighth in the conference. Deirdre Walsh tied a season-high with eight saves in the loss.
 
Skidmore is currently is fourth in the Liberty League standings with 10 points and can guarantee itself a postseason berth with a win on Tuesday night.
 
SCOUTING RPI
RPI fell 3-0 to Vassar on Saturday to go to 1-3-3 in Liberty League play. The Engineers are 2-1-3 at home. 
 
RPI has tied three of its last five games and has gone to overtime nine times this season, going 2-1-6 in those contests. The Engineers have scored three goals in their last eight games and have been outscored 14-3 in that span.
 
Sophomore Dali Alarian leads the team with four goals and 11 points and is tied for the team high with three assists. Four Engineers are tied for second on the team with two goals. Sophomore goalkeeper Tori Riopelle has played all 18 games in goal, posting a 1.32 goals against average and a .748 save percentage.
