SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's soccer team takes on its third nationally-ranked opponent in five games when it hosts No. 3 Williams on Wednesday night.
 
The Thoroughbreds recorded their second consecutive shutout on Saturday, playing to a scoreless draw with Vassar. Sophomore goalkeeper Alyssa Rollins made three saves over the final 65 minutes, including two in overtime.
 
Skidmore is 3-1-1 at home with four shutouts and 2-3 in non-conference games.
 
SCOUTING WILLIAMS
Williams topped MIT 2-1 on Sunday after drawing RPI, 0-0, on Saturday. Junior Audrey Thomas scored her team-leading 11th goal and added an assist and junior Kristi Kirshe chipped in with her team-high sixth assist.
 
The third-ranked Ephs, who have shutout five of their last six opponents, are 10-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 on the road.
 
Thomas leads the team with 11 goals and 25 points and is tied for ninth in Division III with five game-winning goals. Kirshe is second on the team with six goals, 18 points and three game-winning goals. Junior goalkeeper Tressa Palcheck has posted six shutouts and is 12th in the nation with a 0.31 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.
