Field hockey takes on #4 Middlebury

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The seventh-ranked Skidmore College field hockey faces its third consecutive nationally ranked opponent, hosting No.4 Middlebury College, Wednesday, Oct. 1, in a rematch of last year's NCAA Regional semifinal.

SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS (7-2): Skidmore opened Liberty League play with a grueling road trip, beating No. 17 William Smith 3-1 on Saturday before falling, 1-0, in overtime at 20th-ranked Rochester on Sunday...Dani DeGregory netted her fourth hat trick of the season at William Smith.
