Box Score ALBANY, N.Y.—Freshman Augustine Okoye scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Skidmore College men's soccer team to a 2-0 win over Sage College, Wednesday afternoon in Albany.
 
The Thoroughbreds improve to 3-2, while the Gators remain winless at 0-4.
 
Okoye opened the scoring at 19:19 with his third goal of the season and second game winner.   He set-up Adam Beek for the second goal and 2-0 final at 88:19. It was Beek's third goal of the season.
 
Derrick Yam made the most of his first start of the season with four saves in net for the team's first shutout of the young season.
 
After playing its first five games on the road, Skidmore finally plays its home opener on Saturday at 3 p.m. against Nazareth College.
