DeGregory ties scoring record; Thoroughbreds extend streak to eight

Box Score PITTSFORD, N.Y.— Dani DeGregory (Greenwich, N.Y./Greenwich) scored three goals and assisted on a fourth to lead the Skidmore College field hockey team to a 6-3 non-league road win over St. John Fisher, Sunday afternoon.
 
DeGregory has 32 goals for the season, tying the program record set last season by Kelly Blackhurst. The talented forward has seven hat tricks this year.  She has 32 goals and 12 assists for 76 points, three points off of the season total record of 79 set last season by Blackhurst,
 
Skidmore, ranked 12th nationally, finishes the regular season with a 15-3 record. The team will take an eight-game win streak into Wednesday's Liberty League 2 p.m. home semifinal against Vassar.
 
DeGregory set-up the first goal by Becca Halter at 16:54. The Cardinals managed a pair of goals to take a brief 2-1 lead. Skidmore ran off four straight goals to put the game away. Halter scored her second of the game at 35:00 from Sam Skott and DeGregory scored the next three goals.
 
Sam Revera had the final goal late in the game.
 
Skidmore had a commanding 44-8 advantage in shots. Amy Beck stopped two shots in net for the win.
