Erin Barry scored from 30 yards out to lead the Skidmore College women's soccer team to a 1-1 tie with Buffalo State College in the first game of the Farmingdale Tournament. Skidmore will play host Farmingdale at 10 a.m. Saturday in a predetermined match-up.
After a scoreless first half, Barry put the Thoroughbreds in front at 79:23. The Tigers tied at 84:36 when Shannon Yokopovich scored off a corner.
Skidmore dominated the overtime with a 5-0 shot advantage, but couldn't get the winner.
Madison Plummer had two saves over the first 45:00 for Skidmore, while
Gab Lawrence played the final 65:00 with six saves.
