The Thoroughbreds go to 12-3-2, while the Tigers improve to 12-3-3.

Skidmore controlled play in the opening minutes, and Arena Manning came close to putting the Thoroughbreds ahead 90 seconds into the contest.

Manning was sent through on a breakaway, but  Tigers goalkeeper Amanda Murray was quick off her line, cutting down the angle and denying the close-range effort.

RIT withstood Skidmore's early pressure and was rewarded on a counterattack in the 39th minute.

Sierra Kiss delivered a cross from the right wing that was deflected onto the foot of Ehlana Gray, who made no mistake, poking a shot from eight yards into the top corner.

The teams engaged in a midfield battle in the second half with Skidmore owning an 8-2 advantage in shots, but the Thoroughbreds could not find a way past the Tigers disciplined back line.
