Box Score Oneonta, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 game to Oneonta, Saturday afternoon at Red Dragon Field.
 
The Thoroughbreds fall to 1-4, while the Red Dragons improve to 3-2-1.
 
After a scoreless first half, Oneonta's Alaina Greco corralled a loose ball and found the back of the net for the game's lone goal.  Skidmore attempted to get back into the game late as Christine Bellotti and Arena Manning both had shots on goal but Kelley Murphy turned them away and the Red Dragons held on for the 1-0 victory.
 
Gab Lawrence finished with two saves in net for the Thoroughbreds, while Murphy made four stops.
 
Skidmore opens league play on Tuesday at Union for a 7 p.m. start.
