Carlisle, Pa.-- Dickinson College scored three second-half goals to break open a tight game and beat Skidmore 4-0 in the first round of the Dickinson Red Devil Classic.

The Thoroughbreds (2-2) will play Arcadia College on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Dickinson (2-0-2) jumped out to a 1-0 lead just 6:18 into the game. The Thoroughbreds responded with pressure on Red Devil keeper Cody Hickok, but he stopped the three of eight shots, Skidmore put on goal.

Dickinson put the game away in the second half, outshooting the Thoroughbreds 9-3 in stanza, while scoring at 53:05, 71:31, and 81:57.

The Red Devils outshot Skidmore 14-11 for the game. Skidmore had an 8-3 edge corners.
