Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y.— Diego Reinero scored two goals to lead the Skidmore College men's soccer team to a 2-0 season-opening win over Bard College, Wednesday evening.

The Thoroughbreds dominated the game, not allowing Bard a shot on goal.

Reinero scored his first goal at 17:30 from Mark Jensen. He added an insurance goal at 74:20 from Gabe Ziefffor the 2-0 win.

Skidmore held a 12-3 shot and 7-1 corner advantage. Thoroughbred keeper Nick Petersonhad the shutout.

Skidmore returns to action Sept. 3 against Southern Maine in the Plattsburgh Invitational in a 5 p.m. game.
