Tournament Bracket
Saratoga Springs, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College field hockey team looks to make the most of its ninth NCAA Tournament appearance when the Thoroughbreds face Amherst College at 2 p.m., Saturday at Tufts University.

The teams have only played once before, an Amherst penalty-stroke win in the 1999 NCAA Quarterfinals. Tufts and MIT play in the other regional semifinal at 11 a.m.
Saturday's winners will advance to the national quarterfinals on Sunday at Tufts with a 1:00 starting time. Tickets for all three games will be available at the gate. Adults $5, Students $4, and children (under 12)/senior citizens $3.
The regional winners advance to the semifinals and finals Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22, at Mount Holyoke Turf Field on the campus of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Semifinals will be played at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, with the championship game being played Sunday, November 22, at 1 p.m.
Skidmore is 16-3 and brings a nine-game win streak into the tournament. Amherst (12-4) beat Husson College 3-0 in the NCAA first round.
