Saratoga Springs, N.Y.--The Skidmore College women's soccer team will make a run at the Liberty League tournament with a pair of home games this weekend. The Thoroughbreds face Clarkson at 3 p.m. Saturday and St. Lawrence at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Wachenheim Field.
Skidmore is 10-4-2 overall and 2-2-1 in Liberty League play. The Thoroughbreds are in fifth place with seven points (3-win, 1-tie), two points behind fourth-place Vassar. A pair of wins would clinch a playoff spot.
Clarkson is 4-9-2 and 0-5 in the league, while St. Lawrence is ranked 25th nationally with a 10-1-3 overall and 3-1-1 league mark.
The four-team Liberty League tournament is Nov. 7-8 on the campus of the league's regular-season winner.
