After a strong showing at the Head of the Fish, two Skidmore College rowing crews were honored with Liberty League weekly awards. The men's varsity 4+ was named the Liberty League Men's Rowing Boat of the Week, while the women's varsity 8+ was selected as the Liberty League Women's Rowing Boat of the Week. The Skidmore men's and women's rowing teams competed at Fish Creek in the annual Head of the Fish Regatta, a two-day event that draws teams from across the Northeast. The day began with strong performances from the small boats, with first-year hybrid coxswain/rower Jackson Turner competing in the single with a time of 19:38.
