Event ProgramPhoto GallerySARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College athletic department recognized 102 student athletes as members of the Thoroughbred Society in a ceremony held Sept. 28, 2015 at the Williamson Sports Center.
The group of students includes 17 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA in the Spring 2015 semester.
The Thoroughbred Society was created to honor student-athletes who achieve a 3.67 GPA or higher during each calendar semester. It also honors teams who compile a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Featured speakers were senior Isaac Carp from men's basketball and May-Lin McEvoy from women's softball. The pair shared their student-athlete experiences with athletes, faculty, and staff who attended the biannual event.
