SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College athletic department recognized 73 student athletes as members of the Thoroughbred Society in a ceremony held February 10, 2015 at the Williamson Sports Center.

The group of students includes 12 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA in the fall semester.

The Thoroughbred Society was created to honor student-athletes who achieve a 3.67 GPA or higher during each calendar semester. It also honors teams who compile a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
 
Baseball players and brothers Nick and Matt Barra addressed the honorees, speaking about their experience as top student-athletes.
