Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Skidmore College athletic department recognized 89 student athletes as members of the Thoroughbred Society in a ceremony held February 3, 2014 at the Williamson Sports Center.

The group of students includes 13 student-athletes who accomplished a perfect 4.0 grade point averages in the fall semester.

The Thoroughbred Society was created to honor student-athletes who achieve a 3.67 GPA or higher during each calendar semester. It also honors teams who compile a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
 
Women's crew (3.541) and riding (3.514) had the highest semester team GPA.
