ITHACA, N.Y.—Skidmore College senior Oliver Loutsenko defeated Steven Wu of New York University, 6-0, 6-4 to win the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Northeast Regional singles championship Sunday at Ithaca College.
 
The all-American then teamed with Danny Knight to win the doubles title over teammates Alec Hoblitzell and Jimmy Sherpa 6-7, 7-5, 7-6 in an all-Skidmore final.
 
The Small College singles and doubles champions from the USTA/ITA Regional Championships will advance to the USTA/ITA National Small College Championships, held October 10-13 at the Three Oaks Tennis Center in Fort Myers, Florida. The USTA/ITA National Small College Championships is comprised of the eight regional champions (and/or at-large selections) from NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA and Junior/Community Colleges. 
 
Loutsenko won the 2012 ITA Regional and will be competing in his second straight USTA/ITA Small College Championship. Sherpa was part of the 2010 regional doubles championship team.
