Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – The Skidmore College athletic department recognized a record 111 student-athletes as members of the Thoroughbred Society in a ceremony held September 19, 2011 at the Williamson Sports Center.
The group of students includes seven two-sport athletes and 24 student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA.
The Thoroughbred Society was created to honor student-athletes who achieve a 3.67 GPA or higher during each calendar semester. It also honors teams who compile a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
