Saratoga Springs, N.Y. – On Thursday, the Liberty League announced that four Skidmore College women's lacrosse players had earned end of the year honors.
Senior
Amber Kinsey (Troy, N.Y.) was a First Team selection after starting all 17 games this season on defense. She led the Thoroughbreds and ranked fourth in the Liberty League with 2.88 ground balls per game. Kinsey also led the team with 25 caused turnovers and ranked second with 39 draw controls.
Juniors
Kimberly Segalas (Stamford, Conn.) and
Lauren Madden (Huntington, N.Y.) earned Second Team selections for Skidmore. Madden led the team in goals (49) and was third in the league in goals per game (2.94), while Segalas was second in goals (44) and sixth in goals per game (2.59).
Junior
Lauren McCarthy (Ipswich, Mass.) received Liberty League Honorable Mention after leading the Thoroughbreds with 46 draw controls and ranking fourth in the league with 2.56 draw controls per game.
Skidmore finished the 2010 season with a 7-10 overall record while finishing 3-5 in the league.
